Software for CSIRO research staff

ASC provides a range of commercial and open source software to CSIRO researchers. There is no direct charge for use of this commerical software. In the future, sustained use may require a financial contribution.

ASC software is documented on the NCI-NF Software Map. You can gain access to the software by becoming a registered user of ASC/HPCCC systems. Software marked as available on 'myhost' is licensed software that can potentially be installed on compatible computers anywhere within CSIRO.

The Software Packages and Libraries list shows the commerical and open source software currently installed on ASC systems. The Local Userguides for ASC systems and the Environment Modules (external link to NCI-NF) page provide information about setting up your environment to use particular software.
