User Application and Software Support

The user and application support staff at ASC are available to CSIRO researchers to assist with porting, debugging and tuning code. Workflow, data managment and parallel programming expertise is also available. Engagement with researchers can be casual or ongoing, depending on the requirements.

Online Resources

To assist ASC users there are a number of resources available in the User Information section:

  • Local Userguides to assist both new and experienced users of ASC hosted systems.
  • Traffic Lights showing the current status for the ASC and partner systems and services.
  • Map of ASC Software(external link) including software usage and download instructions.
  • HPCbull has important annoucements including system outages, software updates, and advice about ASC and partner systems.

Users experiencing any problems should contact -

  • ASC User Support - 03 8601 3800 (external) / 93 3800 (CSIRO internal) - or
  • Report a problem via Request Tracker (RT) with your web browser (using your nexus login)
